Who Ember Protocol is
Ember Protocol is an investment platform and infrastructure provider for launching, accessing, and distributing traditional and onchain financial products. Asset managers and issuers use it to bring funds, vaults, and strategies to market without building the underlying machinery themselves.
They have over 100 million dollars of assets on the platform across multiple networks, and their contracts have been independently audited.
What the partnership covers
For Syntetika, that infrastructure sits between a regulated fund and a token you can hold in your wallet.
In practice, that means the parts of a deposit most people never see. A deposit is recorded as a request and held in a queue. The queue closes at the cutoff. When the fund's valuation is published and independently attested, tokens are issued at that price. Redemptions follow the same path in reverse. Ember runs each of those steps and publishes their state, which is what allows our UI to show a participant exactly where their deposit sits and lets anyone verify the same information onchain.
Built for how funds actually work
Most onchain vaults assume a price that updates continuously and deposits that settle on the spot. A regulated fund works to a calendar instead: subscriptions close on set dates, valuations are struck on set dates, and verification takes time before anything settles. Ember Protocol's infrastructure is built for that pattern. The fund's calendar stays intact, the queue and the cutoff appear in the UI as the real steps they are, and tokens are issued at a price that has already been attested. That fit is why we chose them.
