Syntetika is a tokenization hub for regulated investment strategies. The first strategy through the door is a Bitcoin one: BTC Basis+, a delta-neutral basis strategy run inside a regulated fund and made accessible onchain through a single token, hBTC.
However, the infrastructure was never designed for one strategy alone. The same rails are built to carry other strategies and other asset classes over time. What ships first is simply what has been tested longest.
How the structure actually works
A participant deposits cbBTC into the vault on Base and receives hBTC in return, a token representing a claim on the underlying position. From there, an independent curator sweeps deposits and gates issuance, timing new capital to the NAV cycle.
Next, capital reaches the holder, an entity with exactly one purpose: to hold the position, and nothing else. The holder is the sole investor into Hilbert's fund, where the strategy itself lives. This is BTC Basis+, a delta-neutral position across Bitcoin's spot and derivatives markets, structured so that it is not a directional bet on price.
Four layers. Each one doing a single job, and doing it in full view of the others. Redemptions retrace the same path in reverse, step by step, back to the participant.
Bitcoin is the starting point, not the destination
BTC Basis+ runs inside a regulated fund managed by Hilbert Group, a publicly traded quantitative firm that has traded digital-asset markets since 2017 and built the operational discipline, risk management, and governance institutions expect. Hilbert is one of the earliest established names running institutional-grade digital-asset strategies.
